Ombud for Equal Treatment

The Ombud for Equal TreatmentGerman text is a government agency at the Federal Chancellery. Its tasks consist of enforcing the right to equal treatment and equality and protecting against discrimination.

Example: You have been discriminated against on the basis of your ethnicity or gender when attempting to access the supply of public goods and services (visiting restaurants, public transport, etc.) - There are also four regional offices of the Ombud for Equal Treatment located in GrazGerman text, InnsbruckGerman text, KlagenfurtGerman text and LinzGerman text that are responsible for all grounds of discrimination and areas within their regional jurisdiction.
