The Ombudsman’s office of the Austrian Labour Inspectorate is a point of contact for non-bureaucratic matters and complaints when working together with the competent labour inspectorate and endeavours to clear up any misunderstandings, problems or conflicts. It acts in the interests of employees and employer.
However, the ombudsman's office is not the primary point of contact for general questions regarding health and safety in the workplace. Enquiries of this nature should be sent to kontakt@arbeitsinspektion.gv.at.More information on the labor inspectorate can be found at USP.gv.at.
