Viewing the electoral roll – Other EU citizens with main residence in Austria

Only eligible voters whose names are included in the closed electoral roll may participate in an election. It is thus possible for you to view the electoral roll and request corrections either orally or in writing.

The electoral roll must be open for public viewing. Viewing is possible prior to the election during a specific viewing period. The viewing period and the competent office of the municipality^{German text} in question are announced in accordance with local provisions.

In addition, during the viewing period, anyone can check online at www.bmi.gv.at/selbstauskunft using a qualified electronic signature (ID Austria) whether he or she is registered in the electoral roll of a municipality.
